Our Story

The company was founded on December 1, 2020, with directors Sias Gericke and Eddie Williamson at the helm. Named Sonick, the company’s title cleverly combines parts of their surnames—‘Son**’ from Williamson and ‘*ick**’ from Gericke. Together, they bring roughly 40 years of experience in the electrical industry. Eddie began his career as an electrician at the city council, later transitioning to maintenance work at the Star Newspaper, and eventually moved into the private sector as an electrician. Sias, on the other hand, has spent his entire career working as an electrician in the private sector. Their combined expertise ensures a wealth of knowledge and reliability in every project they undertake.
